1940s Germany Auschwitz Concentration Camp Cover KZ Stanislaus Fertil to Tarnow

1940s Germany Auschwitz Concentration Camp Cover KZ Stanislaus Fertil to Tarnow
Konzentrationlager KZ Sender is Polish security prisoner Stanislaus Fertil to Sophie Fertil in tarnow Poland. Note the low prisoner number, # 960 indicating he was among the very first transports and probably built the camp. Postmark was removed with the stamp by camp censors. The first transport of prisoners arrived at Auschwitz in June, 1940. This prisoner was among the first transports and the cover was among the very first ever mailed from Auschwitz. Exceptionally rare and important piece of postal history. For the serious collector of Judaica and Holocaust related philately this is an exceptional item. Cover is in excellent condition but note stamp was removed by censors. Please contact me at: azteccollectables at hotmail. Check out my other online auctions of rare and vintage stamps.
